At Typhoo, we’ve been making Great British tea since 1903 - so we know how much a good brew means. Since our new ownership under Supreme in 2025, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make your favourite tea even better than before.
We’re thrilled to announce that any Typhoo you see with our “More ooO in every brew” packaging is the same trusted name, now with an even smoother and richer flavour. Whether you’re a long-time Typhoo loyalist or a curious newcomer, you’re in for a treat.
So, what’s new? We’ve made some thoughtful changes to elevate every part of your tea drinking experience without losing what makes Typhoo, Typhoo.
- Better Flavour, Smoother Finish - We’ve refined our blend to deliver a fuller flavour with smoother taste. Our new blend is well-rounded - strong enough to start your morning but smooth enough for the rest of the day.
- Consistency in every box - Whether it’s a 80-bag box from the Supermarket, or 1100 from your local Café, the blend inside is now exactly the same across our full range. That means a great cup of Typhoo, every single time. No surprises, just dependable, delicious tea.
- Sustainability at the heart - All of our tea is sourced from Rainforest Alliance certified gardens, and we’ve recently gained Rainforest Alliance certification for our manufacturing facility. This now means every element of our supply chain, from gardens to packing, is certified to the highest industry sourcing standards.
We’ve made this change because good isn’t good enough. We know you already like Typhoo, but we knew it could be better. That’s why we’ve invested in better sourcing, better blending and better quality control - all from our new home at The Plant in Gloucester.
This new and improved blend is part of our commitment to doing things the right way - for you, for growers and for the planet.
